We have pleasure in confirming details of our next regional meeting for careers teachers and higher education advisers in the West of England and Wales.
Our two speakers will be: Claire Chesworth, Careers Adviser at Oxford University Careers Service, will give an overview of how a degree can enhance career prospects and also how students can increase their employability whilst at university.
Peter Stephens, Head of UK External and Government Affairs for Nissan, and previously a senior civil servant in the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, will focus on graduate employability in the automotive industry and the Civil Service Fast Stream.
A buffet lunch will be available 12.30 for 12:45 and the meeting will begin at 13:30. An open forum will follow the presentations in which those present can network, share ideas and exchange examples of good practice. The meeting will end at 15:30.
