Topic: Making best use of social media in a careers department

We have pleasure in inviting you to our next regional network meeting for careers teachers and higher education advisers in the Midlands. This will take place at Oundle School on Friday 18th November.

A buffet lunch will be available at 12:45 and the meeting will begin at 13:30. An open forum will follow the presentation in which those present can network, share ideas and exchange examples of good practice.

We are delighted that Mark Woodward, Head of Careers at Bablake School will give a presentation on how to make effective use of social media in a school careers department. Mark is a great advocate of social networking, helped to establish the school’s award-winning website and has written for the national press and magazines. Mark will talk about how a school careers department can raise its profile online. He will also investigate future careers for students in the IT sector.

We envisage this being a popular event so please book early.

To confirm your place, please complete our online application form or contact Evelyn Millbank by email on: [email protected] (including any suggestions for topics for discussion at the open forum).
